Lesson 1                             February 5th

Scripture Lesson                                               Galatians 2: 15-21

Golden Text:  "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”   (Galatians 2:20)

                                           Commentary:

I have heard many people say that they don’t understand the meaning of being crucified with Christ. You were not physically on the cross; but when Christ went to the cross he took sins that you had yet to commit with him. In other words he came not for the righteous but for the unrighteous. The righteous had already committed to God; to live a Godly life. But yet there were then and are now; those that have yet to receive salvation. His crucifixtion laid down the pathway to him; to become saved and have your sins die on the cross with his sacrifice. It’s never too late to give yourself to Jesus. I don’t care how long you have been in it; God is the way out!

Lesson 2                            February 12th

Scripture Lesson                                         Lesson Galatians 3: 1-14

Golden Text:  “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law . . that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith “(Galatians 3:13-14)

                                        Commentary

Don’t be caught up in things of the world; don’t make a priority your house or car you drive, the A person that loves God and follows his law, would not have to worry about the laws of man; because you would not transgress neither. I know some may say that some church leaders are breakers of both the law of God and man; and yes you could be correct. But let not another’s frailty bewitch you into thinking that if they did it, why should you follow Christ. You are responsible for your own actions, just as they are for theirs. When you become saved you make righteous living a way of life and that means obeying the law, all of it.

 Lesson 3                            February 19th

Scripture Lesson                                Galatians 3: 15-29; 4: 1 – 5; 1

Golden Text:  "Thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ"              (Galatians 4: 7)

                                             Commentary

In this passage of scripture biblical days even as now the inheritance flowed through the blood line and the servants has no claim. The inheritance of salvation makes all heirs. Never think that because you are saved and someone is not that you have an exclusive right that a servant cannot obtain. That servant once they except Christ have then the same inheritance that you have. All can become an heir to the promises of God. Sin makes all slaves; but Christ has set us free.

Lesson 4                              February 26th

Scripture Lesson                                  Galatians 5: 22 – 6:10

Golden Text:  "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law" (Galatians 5:22-23)

                                               Commentary

When we say we are saved and have accepted Christ we become a tree that is known by its fruit. When you spout righteousness, and righteous living then you produce the fruit from your tree, your spirit. Your salvation is proved not only to yourself but to the world. A change is seen in you. You don’t have to produce an outside show people will see that there is just something different about you; they will see your fruit. Some will put themselves up in pride and glory; a tree not bearing the fruit of the spirit; but whatever they soweth, they will reap. Some will fall; but having spirit fruit we should show them how to get up.
